Sonnet No.18  셰익스피어     Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?  Thou art more lovely and more temperate: Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,  And summer’s lease hath all too short a date: Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines, And often is his gold complexion dimm’d;    And every fair from fair sometime declines,    By chance, or nature’s changing course untrimm’d;    But thy eternal summer shall not fade,    Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow’st,   Nor shall death brag thou wander’st in his shade,    When in eternal lines to time thou grow’st:    So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see,    So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.     내 그대를 여름날에 비할까요?  그대는 더욱 사랑스럽고 온화한데  거친 바람이 5월의 사랑스러운 씨앗을 흔들고  여름날의 임대는 너무나 짧기만 합니다.  천상의 시선은 너무 뜨겁게 빛나고,  그 금빛 찬란한 안색도 때때로 흐려집니다.  미(美)에 연유한 모든 미(美)는 시들거나  우연히, 혹은 자연의 흐름에 따라 벗겨집니다.  하지만 그대의 영원한 여름은 시들지 않으오리다.  불후의 시 속에서 그대가 자라 시간이 될 때,  그대가 지닌 아름다움의 소유는 빼앗기지 않을 것이며  그대를 죽음의 그림자 속에서 방황하게 못하오리다.  인간이 살아 숨쉬고, 눈으로 볼 수 있는 한,  이 시는 살 것이며, 이 시가 그대에게 삶을 주리니.          노래 David Gilmour   부루의 뜨락 최길호
